WOODEN MOULDINGS |
|
|
Since September 2001, the range has been expanded with mouldings from Senélar's mother company: Larson-Juhl. This way the collection grew to over 900 mouldings, including a lot of exclusive series!... The range is offered in lengths or in chop service: made to measure and even joined if you want to. This system is called the "cami chop-service". Several times a year, new mouldings are added to the collection. If you want to keep up with the latest models, please go to "new products". Since March 2004, the Cami
range has been completed with the KI-Collection - Asian mouldings
with the perfect balance between top quality and a very attractive price.
You can see the catalog
of the KI-Collection online. The KI-Collection already contains over 500 mouldings...
In the fall of 2004 this range was completed with Atelier Senélar - an exclusive range of hand finished frames: 7 shapes in different finishes: hand guilded (gold or silver) or in one of the 14 exclusive colors (with or without a matching finish) or in one of the many hundred RAL colors. |
|
| And in the fall the E-Collection was launched - environmentally friendly picture frame mouldings on certified durian wood. These mouldings are imported into Europe by EC Mouldings - a sister company of Cami. |

PRESENTATION OF SENELAR-LARSON-JUHL |
The company Senélar has been a family business since 1903. In that year, Georges Senélar founded his company in Tourcoing (about 5 km from the Belgian border near Kortrijk). In 1963, his son, André Senélar renamed the company to his own name and the company started to specialize itself in the manufacturing of wood mouldings for frames. Much later, in 1989, the new managers (Didier Senélar and Thierry Malfait) gave the company a new impulse by starting the AS System. In 1996, Senélar fused with the Larson-Juhl group and thus a new name was created: Senélar-Larson·Juhl. Once again, a new chapter in the company’s history began.
Ever since the foundation in 1903, consecutive investments have led to an enormous development in the field of manufacturing, the optimization of creativity and the respond to the specific questions of their customers. At the moment, 30% of its production is being exported abroad. The USA, Germany, England and Japan are very important markets.
Their will to be the best, supports them in their daily struggle: safeguarding the tradition and keeping beautiful things beautiful. The enormous experience of their employees explains the continuous designing of various gilded mouldings, and more specific their "dorure à l’eau" (water-gilding), the cream of the crop in their range of products. The quality of their mouldings is known and respected worldwide.
In the 7.000m² large manufacturing plant in Hazebrouck, the main manufacturing is situated. Here you will find the workshops where the old hand-crafted tradition remains: decoration, burnishing and "dorure à l’eau". The modern creations are being realized in several specialized and highly mechanized workshops.
